The study was conducted in three years (2003-2005) aiming at supplying products meeting food safety and hygiene assurance for domestic consumption and export; assessing a current situation of food safety in aquaculture as well as economic efficiency of culture models in accordance with food safety and hygiene assurance. Under the study, four technological processes of culture of tiger prawn, Tra catfish and Ba sa catfish were established those ensure food safety and hygiene assurance on the indexes of antibiotic residues, aflatoxin, pesticide, metals, etc.
