This paper presents a research on diseases of peanut and some research results of preventive methods in Quang Binh. It is a poor province in Central region. There are a lot of difficult conditions in agriculture production, the diseases of peanut occurred very often. This objective of paper is to describe diseases of peanut and some research results of preventive methods. The research has evaluated diseases of some peanut varieties such as DT2 , MD7, L14 and DL10. The research has applied IPM methods of peanut. The research has defined peanut varieties MD7, DT2 that get yield higher than that of local peanut variety. In addition, IPM methods for peanut are effective.
