4 Architecture and urbanization in Northern delta rural areas
At present, a trend of urbanization turns into the main tendency in the Red river delta. There are 3 kinds:- The city expanded towards the outskirt, the village which becomes the street is called the "village street"; - The village which was built along the road is called the "street village"; - The village has been tiled in the movement "station, road, school, farm". The inhabitants rush to the road to do business. This urbanization is spontaneous and in case of planning it is only a town-level planning of the province. Infrastructure is synchronous and unsystematic, especially in problem of traffic safety. This is a popular trend in urbanization in the Red river delta.

4 Outdoor sculpture with urban landscape architecture
In urban areas, especially in cities with high cultural and historical value, the outdoor sculpture and statue are indispensable parts. The outdoor sculpture and statue differ from indoor ones because firstly it is a part of urban space so it has appropriate size in order to create correlative proportion with surrounding landscape and people. Hence, the outdoor sculptural work is close to an architectural work, or in other words it is necessary to use architectural solutions or from view point of architecture to treat the outdoor sculptural work. It is unsurprised when coauthors of almost outdoor sculptural works are a sculptor and architect.

4 Renewing structure of Vietnamese villages
This is a proposal to turn the closed structure of the village into the open one with 5 main principles, as follows: 1/ Building a ring-road. This is the main solution. A road surrounding the village is technical channel connecting the village with the outside, with rice fields, economic activities, expanded settlement points...; 2/ Linking blind alleys with the ring-road, creating traffic connection as a network; 3/ Sewage network is dispersed to the sides through the system from the blind alleys to the ring-road that creates favourable conditions to collect and treat the waste water; 4/ The side area is open space serving public work development: market, school, playground... It is also a land reserve for the new functions and scales; 5/ Establishing concentrated handmade production bases, removing polluted and large-scale production ones from the village.

4 Urban architectural heritage under French time in medium and small cities before 1945 - A part of Vietnamese cultural heritage
In late of 19th, early 20th centuries, in Vietnam, there are many new cities were established according to Western urban models. Series of province-level towns were founded with urban architectural structures bearing European architectural stamp of which a part has been considered as the urban architectural heritage of one period. Despite it is recognized or not, the French-style urban architectural buildings play undeniable historical role in establishing architectural appearance of Vietnam's towns in this period and long time later. So far, passing a century, many buildings have position and importance in urban life. These buildings become a spiritual component which is difficultly separate from spiritual life of the urban community and is a valuable property of the town.
4 Urban culture as a counterbalance factor to balance development of cities during the process of urbanization (in case of Hanoi)
The urban architectural foundation of Hanoi has the diversified urban architectural foundation including orthodox, traditional, colonial, international and new architectures which exist and develop together. The cultural city must be expressed by joining and continuity of traces of buildings which was one-time famous but today it had not developed its effect. It is necessary to treat culturally the heritage. Balance is an important principle not only for designers and urban spatial organization, but also for high-ranking officers to set up appropriate strategic policies which is often mentioned as a current trend, this is sustainable development.
